AVNMEDIA.ID -  Singaporean singer-songwriter and producer ALICIA DC is stepping into a bold new era with the release of her debut album WANNA KISS, a project that fuses dance-pop production, alternative pop textures, and emotionally raw songwriting.

The album marks a significant evolution in her sound, as she transitions further into high-energy dance-pop while still holding on to the intimate, introspective storytelling that has defined her earlier releases.

Known for her sharp contrast between catchy production and brutally honest lyrics, ALICIA DC has steadily built her identity through genre-crossing projects—ranging from acoustic ballads to trap-infused pop and experimental alternative sounds.

Following her debut EP Maybe (2022) and singles such as Circles (2024), WANNA KISS represents her most fully realized pop statement to date.

Visually and conceptually, WANNA KISS draws inspiration from the cult classic Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, reimagining ALICIA DC as a comic-style protagonist navigating a surreal blend of reality and fantasy.

Neon aesthetics, pixel-art influences, and exaggerated digital-world imagery frame the album as more than just a music release—it becomes a narrative universe where emotions feel amplified, chaotic, and hyper-stylized.
