AVNMEDIA.ID -  South Korean band KIK has officially released its new collaborative digital single “ROAD” with Australian singer-songwriter Will Hyde.

The track was released on August 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM KST across major music streaming platforms.

“ROAD” blends KIK’s dynamic band sound with Will Hyde’s soft and delicate vocals, creating a refreshing track centered on reconnecting despite physical distance and the passage of time.

The collaboration marks another step in KIK’s efforts to expand its musical reach beyond South Korea.

KIK first introduced “ROAD” to audiences through a live performance at the 2026 Music Flow Festival, ahead of the song’s official digital release.

The release also follows KIK’s previous international collaboration, “piece of peace,” with Thai band Dept.

Through these collaborations, KIK continues to explore new musical styles while building connections with artists from across Asia and beyond.

Who Is Will Hyde?

Will Hyde is an Australian singer-songwriter who has established a growing international audience.

The artist currently has approximately 400,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and more than 100 million cumulative streams worldwide.

He has also gained recognition among South Korean music fans through collaborations with artists MRCH and imzoo.

Will Hyde previously received a shout-out from Stray Kids member Bang Chan, further strengthening his visibility among K-pop audiences.

His collaboration with KIK on “ROAD” brings together two artists from different musical backgrounds and countries.

KIK Expands Global Presence Through Eurovision Song Contest Asia

The release of “ROAD” comes as KIK prepares for another major international opportunity.

The band was recently selected as part of the South Korean lineup for “Eurovision Song Contest Asia,” the first Asian edition of the long-running European music competition.

The original Eurovision Song Contest dates back to 1956 and has helped launch the international careers of major artists, including ABBA.

Ahead of the finals, KIK generated additional anticipation by performing an unreleased song titled “F1.”

The group’s participation marks another milestone as KIK enters its second year since debut.

Wooseok Balances KIK and PENTAGON Activities

KIK member Wooseok is also preparing for a busy period as he balances his activities with the band alongside his idol career.

MPMG MUSIC and UNDEFINED Entertainment said the release of “ROAD,” together with KIK’s participation in “Eurovision Song Contest Asia,” will be part of the band’s efforts to strengthen its international presence.

Meanwhile, the South Korean qualifying round of “Eurovision Song Contest Asia” featuring KIK is scheduled to air on ENA on September 4 at 11:00 PM KST.
